WhatsApp Auto: new action “Decide whether to archive

You can now add a new action to your workflows in which the AI automatically decides whether the chat should be archived after assisting the customer. Useful for keeping the inbox clean: when the conversation is resolved and there are no pending responses from either the AI or a human agent, the AI archives the chat for you. You can customize the criteria with your own instructions.

WhatsApp: keep the archived status when sending messages

When sending WhatsApp messages from the dashboard or smart tracking, chats that were already archived are automatically archived again after sending, instead of reappearing in the active inbox. Chats that were already active remain active. This way, you avoid having a follow-up message clutter your conversation inbox with chats you had already closed.

Chrome extension: stability of the GIF installation notice in the sidebar

Several issues that caused the notification to install the GIF for WhatsApp Web to appear incorrectly when the sidebar was already open, or not to appear when it should, have been resolved. The detection of the sidebar’s state is now more reliable and the flow is consistent across all tabs.

Recovery of history: redisplay saved messages

A problem in the extension has been fixed, whereby the “Conversation History“ panel could remain empty when pressing the floating recovery button. Now, when WhatsApp Web no longer has the messages on the mobile, WAzion shows the saved messages again, and if the internal communication fails, it tries directly so that the history always appears. A clear error message is also displayed if the loading cannot be completed, instead of a simple “no more messages.

Correction

Sentiment analysis: now shows “Not available“ when there is no conversation to analyze

Previously, if you opened a chat without real messages to analyze (for example, a new contact or a conversation with only encryption or multimedia notifications), the sentiment panel displayed a neutral state that could be confusing. Now it clearly shows “Not available“ in those cases, so you know that there is still not enough data for a real assessment.

Self-archived by AI on WhatsApp: more accurate decisions

The AI that decides which chats to archive now ignores the standard automatic notice (“a specialist will review your case“) as a signal of pending human follow-up, so it no longer keeps open chats that are actually closed. Additionally, a chat is only marked as archived when WhatsApp confirms that it has truly been archived: if the request is not confirmed, it is reported as a failure instead of giving a false positive.

New feature

Dashboard assistant: list of active WhatsApp chats

The dashboard assistant can now list your active WhatsApp chats (those not archived in the actual inbox), optionally with a glimpse of the latest messages from each one. Ask for things like “show me my active WhatsApp chats“ or “which conversations are most urgent right now“ and prioritize without having to open the extension.

Correction

Scheduled messages: the modal no longer hangs when loading WhatsApp sessions

A problem has been fixed where the modal for scheduling messages could remain blank when the list of WhatsApp sessions took longer than usual to load. Now there is a maximum wait time and an alternative second attempt, so the list always ends up appearing.

Improvement

Automatic detection of lost session in WhatsApp Web

The extension now automatically detects if you lose the WAzion session while using WhatsApp Web (due to browser cleanup, silent logout, or token renewal) and shows you the notice to log back in, instead of failing silently with generic errors. This way, you avoid having your automations stop without you noticing.
