Mass Marketing
Send mass campaigns via WhatsApp to your contact lists.
What is Mass Marketing?
Mass Marketing allows you to send WhatsApp campaigns to your contacts:
- ✓ Connect multiple WhatsApp numbers for sending
- ✓ Create reusable contact lists
- ✓ Import contacts from CSV, TXT, or existing conversations
- ✓ Automatically translate messages according to the recipient’s country.
- ✓ Include automatic unsubscribe link in every message
- ✓ Monitor progress in real time
1. Connect Numbers
To send campaigns, you need at least one connected WhatsApp number assigned to the Mass Marketing module.
Steps:
- Go to Dashboard > Mass Marketing > “Numbers“ tab
- If you don’t have connected numbers, go to WhatsApp Auto first to connect one by scanning the QR code.
- Activate the “Mass Marketing“ toggle on each number you want to use for sending.
- The same number can have WhatsApp Auto and Mass Marketing active simultaneously.
Recommendation: Use at least 2-3 numbers to distribute the shipments and reduce the risk of blocking.
2. Create Contact Lists
Contact lists are reusable. You can use the same list for multiple campaigns.
Create a list:
- Go to the “Lists“ tab and click “New List
- Give it a descriptive name (e.g.: “VIP Clients“, “February Offers“)
- Import contacts using one of the available options
3. Import Contacts
Manual
Write the numbers one per line or separated by commas. Recommended international format: +34612345678
CSV
Upload a CSV file with a “phone“ or “telefono“ column. It also detects “name“ or “nombre“ to save the contact’s name.
TXT
One number per line. The system automatically normalizes the formats (removes spaces, dashes, etc.).
Conversations
Automatically import the phone numbers from your existing WhatsApp conversations.
Note: Duplicate contacts are automatically ignored (INSERT IGNORE). You can import multiple times without worrying about duplicates.
4. Create and Launch Campaigns
Set up a campaign:
- Go to the “Campaigns“ tab and click “New Campaign
- Name: identify the campaign (e.g. “Valentine’s Day Offer“)
- List: select the destination contact list
- Message: write the text that will be sent
- Interval: seconds between each submission (minimum 10, recommended 30+)
- Activate if you want to translate automatically according to the country.
- Unsubscribe link: activate to include automatic unsubscribe link
- Archive: activates to automatically archive each chat after sending the message
- Numbers: select which WhatsApp numbers to use for this campaign, or leave empty to use all enabled ones.
Campaign statuses:
Campaign management:
- ✓ Edit: modify the message, the contact list, and the options of a draft campaign
- ✓ Duplicate: create a copy of any campaign to reuse the message and settings.
- ✓ Archive: hides completed or canceled campaigns without deleting them
- ✓ Filter by status: use the status tabs to quickly find campaigns
5. Variables in Messages
Automatically personalize each message using template variables:
{nombre}
It is replaced by the contact’s name.
{telefono}
It is replaced by the contact’s phone number.
{tienda}
It is replaced by the name of your store.
Example: Hello {name}, from {store} we inform you of our new offer.
6. Schedule Campaigns
Schedule your campaigns to launch automatically at a future date and time.
How to program:
- When creating or editing a campaign, select a date and time for sending.
- The campaign is saved with the status “Scheduled
- It automatically launches at the specified time in your time zone.
7. Recurring Campaigns
Set up campaigns that automatically repeat according to a pattern:
Note: Each repetition automatically creates a new campaign with the same settings. Contacts who have already received the previous message are not automatically excluded.
8. Auto-Response
When someone responds to a campaign message, you can send an automatic reply. Set it up in the “Settings“ tab.
- ✓ Turn on/off: use the toggle to control whether the auto-reply is sent
- ✓ Customizable text: write the message you want to send
- ✓ Automatic translation: it is translated into the contact’s language according to their phone prefix (consumes credits)
- ✓ Unsubscribe link: includes a link for the contact to unsubscribe.
- ✓ Compatible with WhatsApp Auto: if the number also has workflows, these are executed first.
Note: The automatic translation of the auto-reply consumes credits from your account, as it uses AI to translate into the recipient’s language.
9. Low System
The unsubscribe system allows recipients to stop receiving marketing messages from your store.
- ✓ The unsubscribe link is automatically added at the end of each message.
- ✓ The drop is by store: it only affects your business.
- ✓ Unsubscribed contacts are automatically excluded from future campaigns.
- ✓ You can see the list of absences in the “Settings“ tab.
10. Good Anti-Spam Practices
- 1. Only send to people who have given their prior consent.
- 2. Always include the unsubscribe link in your campaigns.
- 3. Use intervals of at least 30 seconds between messages.
- 4. Distribute the shipments among several WhatsApp numbers.
- 5. Do not send to the same group of contacts too frequently.
- 6. Customize the content to make it relevant to the recipient.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many numbers can I use for bulk messaging?
There is no limit. You can connect as many numbers as you need. The system uses them in round-robin to distribute the shipments evenly.
Can I use the same number for WhatsApp Auto and Mass Marketing?
Yes. A number can have both active modules. WhatsApp Auto (workflows) runs first. If no workflow matches, the marketing auto-response is sent.
What happens if a contact unsubscribes?
You are automatically excluded from all future campaigns of your store. The exclusion is by store, not global: the contact may still receive from other businesses.
How many campaigns can I run simultaneously?
One campaign at a time per store. This protects your WhatsApp numbers by preventing overloads. You can pause a campaign and resume it whenever you want.
What interval is recommended between messages?
We recommend at least 30 seconds between messages. Shorter intervals increase the risk of being blocked by WhatsApp. With multiple numbers, the risk is distributed.
