Access token

It is a key that allows WAzion to access the information of your store. It starts with shpat_

shpat_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

How to obtain the Shopify token

  1. 1 Log in to your Shopify dashboard
  2. 2 Go to Settings > Apps and sales channels
  3. 3 Click on “Develop applications
  4. 4 Create a new application (you can call it “WAzion“ or “WhatsApp“)
  5. 5 In “Control Panel API Integration,“ enable read permissions
  6. 6 Save and then go to “API Credentials
  7. 7 Install the application and click on “Reveal the token once
  8. 8 Copy the token and paste it into WAzion

To connect your VTEX store you need the following data:

Account Name

The name of your VTEX account, which is part of your store’s URL

tu-cuenta.vtexcommercestable.com.br

App Key and App Token

Generate the credentials from the VTEX License Manager: Account Settings > Application Keys > Manage My Keys > Generate New.

vtexappkey-xxx / vtexapptoken-xxx

Store URL (optional)

If your store has a custom domain, you can specify it so that the product links are correct.

https://tutienda.com

VTEX only shows the App Token once when it is generated. If you lose it, you will need to create new credentials.

WAzion requests read-only access. It cannot modify, create, or delete data from your store.

Test the connection

After entering the URL and the token, press the “Test“ button to verify:

  • That the connection with your e-commerce platform is working correctly.
  • That the token has all the necessary permissions
  • The name of your store (to confirm that it is the correct one)

If permissions are missing, the system will indicate which ones are needed.

Links URLs (Markets)

If your Shopify store has multiple Markets (countries/regions) configured, WAzion can adapt the product URLs according to the customer’s country.

Automatic Mode

Detect the customer’s country by their phone prefix and use the corresponding Market URL. If none is detected, use the main URL.

Fixed Mode

Always use the URL of a specific Market, regardless of the customer’s country.

If Shopify returns incorrect URLs (e.g., /it-it/ instead of /it/), you can correct them with the “Fix URLs“ button.

Content language

Control the language in which product titles are displayed when you copy a link.

Automatic Mode

Detect the client’s language by their phone prefix. You can set a fallback language if none is detected.

Fixed Mode

Always display the content in a specific language.
